Roche Diagnostics Spain, the local affiliate of Roche in Spain to commercialize products and services in the clinical diagnostic market, has consolidated its leadership position in the market thanks to its sustained effort on management innovation. Established in Spain since 1968, with more than 700 employees, it offers a broad range of products for Clinical laboratories, Research Centers, Pharmacies, Primary Care Centers and Patients.
Back in 2003, Roche Spain put in place a formal structure to manage innovation. An Innovation committee, with the support of easycrit as innovation management tool, has helped to involve people all over the company, making innovation something that is present in the daily activities. A group of Facilitators (10% of all employees) are paramount in “shaking” the organization and helping any innovator to find the right way to submit and channel his/her ideas.
Just in the last 6 months nearly 100 ideas, from different departments and units, have been collected in the innovation tool, making their management quick and easy.
Over the recent years , Roche not only enjoys a leadership position, but its market share is growing in the current tough environment
